Airplane Ride Day

Airplane Ride Day for 2023 will be on Saturday, June 10th

Every year in early June, the Freeman Army Airfield Museum holds an Airplane Ride Day for the general public.  Experienced pilots volunteer their time and airplanes to help raise money to operate the museum.  Rides are typically $25 per person, maximum 3 persons per airplane. You get to look at Seymour from the air, and maybe pick out your house.  In 2023 you'll be able to see the completed truck bypass around the east and south sides of town.  Reasonably priced food will be available.
